I can say that it was great opportunity to promote our Lublin GameDev group and find out that more people are interested in making games in Lublin! GREAT!!! Our group is growing! :D

Ok, I think it's time to tell something more about our group. How we work, what we're doing and where you can meet as :)



So what is "Lublin GameDev"?

This idea came to us on the way to Digital Dragons 2013. You can make games everywhere in Poland but in Lublin? Madness! No one makes games in here! Really? I can tell it's not true :)
We have few small "companies" or even people work alone with games. And that's why we create this group. To integrate those people. To promote idea of making games in Lublin. To show that Lublin is not that bad :)


What "Lublin GameDev" does?

We're try to promote games, companies and people from Lublin. We're also looking for opportunity to show on IT and gamedev events and we're open to share our knowledge. :)


Ok, so how this group works?

We meet every 3 weeks in Padbar (bar with pads) and we share our experience and knowledge about making games. Sometimes we make games for our meetings and sometimes we just talk about random stuff :)


How about future?

Let's make Lublin game industry capitol! :D (What?! It's good to have a dreams!)
But seriously.. I'll be very happy if one day someone tell me "Wow! We have great gamedev community over here and they are making great games!". Also I'm thinking about making gamedev events in Lublin.
Conferences, Game Jams and some more. We'll see how it develops :)
